General Server Recommendations

It is possible for all Inquisite server components to co-exist on a single server. However, for performance and stability reasons, we strongly recommend that the Inquisite system be distributed across two servers at a minimum: a Web/Application server and a Database server. We recommend that all Inquisite servers have at least 4 GB of RAM, 1 GHz or higher processor and a minimum of 2 GB disk space in a hardware RAID. We also strongly recommend the use of a file backup/recovery system and an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS).
