Web Survey Respondents and Portal Respondents

• Internet Explorer 6.0 or greater
• Firefox 2.0 or greater

 
All Other Inquisite Users:
(Survey Creators, Administrators, Analysts, etc.)

• Microsoft Windows 2000, 2003, XP, or Vista
• Internet Explorer 6.0 or 7.0 (required for the interactive HTML invitation and reminder editor)
• 1 GHz or higher Pentium or compatible processor
• 1024x768 video resolution or better
• 512 MB memory or better
• Analysts running the Inquisite Reporting Plug-In for Microsoft Office will also need:
  • Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0
  • Microsoft Office XP or greater

Server Requirements

Web Server
(hosts web surveys deployed by Inquisite Survey)

• Windows 2003 Server (32-bit version)
• Microsoft IIS 6.0
• Microsoft .NET Framework v3.5 SP1
• Microsoft Chart Controls for Microsoft .NET Framework v3.5 SP1
• Minimum 1 GHz or higher Pentium or compatible processor
• Minimum 2 GB memory or higher
• Minimum 1 GB free disk space

 
Application Server
(hosts Inquisite server applications: Survey Administrator, Survey Collection, Survey Web Reporting)

• Windows 2003 Server (32-bit version)
• Microsoft Data Access Components MDAC 2.8 or higher with SQL Server
• Microsoft .NET Framework v3.5 SP1
• Microsoft Enterprise Instrumentation
• Relay access to SMTP server (for sending system notifications and email invitations)
• Minimum 1 GHz or higher Pentium or compatible processor
• Minimum 2 GB memory or higher
• Minimum 1 GB free disk space

 
Database Server
(hosts Inquisite administration database and survey results database)

• Microsoft SQL Server 2000 or 2005
