World Congress on Information Technology Selects Inquisite as Event Survey Partner
Sponsorship to Include Multi-Language Surveys to Reach Global Audience
AUSTIN, TEXAS - September 13, 2005 - Inquisite Inc., a provider of enterprise feedback management solutions, announced today that it will be a silver level sponsor for The World Congress on Information Technology (WCIT 2006). WCIT 2006 is the world's premier information technology forum to be held in Austin, Texas in May 2006. The event gathers over 2,000 global thought leaders from business, government, and academia to discuss IT policy, direct the future of global technology, and drive social and economic development.
"This event provides Inquisite with a unique opportunity to gather quantitative data for WCIT 2006 from a large and diverse population, combining both handheld and online technology," said Arturo Coto, CEO of Inquisite. "Inquisite is committed to excellence in technology and is excited to be able to provide WCIT 2006 with the ability to reach its global audience to discover and validate issues and trends."
As a sponsor, Inquisite will build and host surveys in multiple languages such as Portuguese, Spanish, French, and Chinese. The surveys will be given to conference attendees during the sessions using handheld devices and responses will be downloaded into a series of custom reports developed by Inquisite for the event. In addition, WCIT 2006 will be conducting pre- and post-conference surveys to evaluate questions such as what attendees were expecting from the conference, if the breakout sessions met their needs, and speaker evaluations.
The World Congress is held every two years on a different continent and is the signature forum of the World Information Technology and Services Alliance (WITSA), a consortium of 65 information technology (IT) industry associations that represents over 90% of the world's IT market. The mission of the organization is to be a catalyst for social and economic development through the exchange of policy, ideas and technology.
WCIT forums have been held in international cities such as Taipei, Taiwan (2000), Adelaide, Australia (2002) and Athens, Greece (2004). WCIT 2006, Inc., a non-profit 501 6(C) organization, is headquartered in Austin, Texas. WCIT 2006 will draw leaders and decision makers from 80 countries, including Fortune 100 CEOs, NGO Presidents, Foreign Ministers, Noble Laureates, University Chancellors and leading R& D Scientists.
