Inquisite Posts Record Earnings for First Quarter of 2003

Company Experiences Nearly 90 Percent Sales Increase Over Same Period in 2002

AUSTIN, TEXAS - April 23, 2003- Inquisite, a provider of web survey technology and services, today announced its most profitable quarter to date for the quarter ending March 31. The company reported an almost 90 percent increase in sales over that same period in 2002 and has acquired several new Fortune 1000 customers.

Inquisite's strong financial performance and upward movement in customer acquisition comes during a time of challenging economic conditions. "Our business is built on the belief that informed decision making is critical for every company in every kind of economy," said Meg Murphy, the company's vice president of strategic planning. "In difficult economic times, forward-thinking enterprises understand that capturing customer opinions and feeding that information back into key business processes is essential to their ability to thrive, not just survive."

During the first quarter of 2003, Inquisite experienced significant growth in the financial, retail, healthcare and government sectors. New customers include Sprint, Gap, Williams-Sonoma, Aramark, Sara Lee, the American Diabetes Association, Pfizer, Pier 1 Imports, Adobe Systems, Washington Mutual, Sisters of Mercy Health System, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. and NASA's Johnson Space Center.

In addition to posting record-breaking sales during the quarter, Inquisite received positive news, feature and product review coverage in some of the nation's better-known technology-focused publications. The company's enterprise-class survey solution earned a four-star rating from PC Magazine in March, and the software was featured in eWeek, Bank Systems & Technology, Training, BtoB, Employee Benefit News, Federal Computer Week and other leading trade magazines.

"Incorporating the voice of the customer into an enterprise's business processes has historically been a slow, technically demanding process-with the result that many firms are still making decisions based on 'gut feel,' "said Sam Goodner, Inquisite's chief executive officer. "The Inquisite solution offers these enterprises a way to overcome the technical and administrative roadblocks usually associated with gathering business intelligence and focus on what their key constituencies are really saying about them."
