La Senza Selects Inquisite to Assess Employee Satisfaction

Canadian Retailer to Deploy Web Surveys to 4,500-Member Workforce at More Than 300 Locations

AUSTIN, Texas - November 10, 2003 - Inquisite announced today that La Senza Corp. (TSX: LSZ), one of Canada's leading specialty retailers of women's lingerie and apparel, will begin using Inquisite web survey technology to maintain strong relationships with employees at its more than 300 stores across Canada and the United States.

La Senza's underwear, loungewear and sleepwear are targeted at women from 18 to 35 years of age and sold through La Senza and Silk & Satin stores. The growing "tween" market is addressed by the company's La Senza Girl stores and web site. Headquartered in Montreal, La Senza entered the U.S. market this year with the opening of five stores in the Northeast. The company's annual sales for 2002 reached $244.6 million.

Sylvia Dholah, La Senza's human resources director, will replace the paper-based employee satisfaction surveys her department conducts each year with Inquisite web surveys administered through the company's point-of-service (PoS) system. The anonymous surveys will ask employees to rate benefits, compensation, training, opportunities for advancement, relationships with supervisors and company culture. La Senza also plans to begin rolling out customer-focused surveys within the next several months.

"Inquisite will enable us to obtain the data necessary to be far more responsive to our 4,500-member workforce. It will allow us to bypass the development of slow and expensive paper surveys or posting surveys on the Internet that are printed out, completed and faxed or mailed in. We'll also be able to stop hiring temporary employees to manually input responses," Dholah said. "Inquisite will help us to update and release surveys as we want and get feedback in days, not weeks. According to a recent study by Mercer Human Resource Consulting, turnover at the store level tends to be high, making attraction and retention strategies key in the retail industry. According to Mercer's survey, the average total turnover rate for non-management positions is 44 percent, compared to only 17 percent for management positions.
