Account Executive

Job Description

This person will successfully sell Inquisite software and consulting services to new accounts within an assigned vertical market.

Duties include the sale of software and services utilizing consultative selling to prospective accounts as well as all aspects of account management. Duties include but are not limited to: prospecting and developing a pipeline with creative demand generation strategies, accurate forecasting, developing sales strategy, timely reporting, developing and closing opportunities; meeting or exceeding assigned quarterly sales performance goals and performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years of experience in direct sales. Experience in marketing or technical support of computer software solutions is a plus. Specific industry-related experience may be considered in combination with the above requirements.
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, MIS or other relevant discipline.
  • Knowledge of hardware and/or software acquisition cycles and buying influences.
  • Understanding of industry software and hardware terminology and concepts.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Manage prospect and customer accounts to achieve expedient purchase decisions.
  • Skills in analyzing and evaluating territory dynamics to develop and implement a sales plan.
  • Ability to initiate and lead projects; ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to travel on an infrequent basis.

Preferences

  • Evidence of consistent quota attainment.
  • Highly organized individual with good project management skills and attention to detail.
